Our take

Password-based authentication is notoriously fragile - with many people reusuing the same password for every site they use, and the majority of all breaches caused by passwords. Magic is striving to bring an end to the traditional password authentication method, by providing developers with the tools to adopt secure, passwordless instant access to Web 3.0 wallets.

The company is trusted by Web 3.0 trailblazers including ImmutableX, Magic Eden, Zerion and Helium. It has continued to develop new capabilities as the Web 3.0 space matures - for instance with its collaborative launch of an all-in-one Web 3.0 loyalty solution with Uptop - to ensure that it remains able to deliver what the industry needs.

Magic has attracted significant investment from the likes of Northzone and Tiger Global, as well as most recently from PayPal Ventures. This latest capital will be invested in expanding its functionality and building up more use cases, on top of making a "deeper integration within the EU and APAC."
