Who you are
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Major in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related fields preferred
- Knowledge of FINRA and SEC rules and regulation
- Effective time management and organization skills
- Excellent oral/written communication, and interpersonal skills
- The ability to take ownership over your work and thrive in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Comfort navigating complex and enthusiasm for taking on new challenges associated with scaling a company
What the job involves
- Partner across the legal, compliance, risk, and business lines to ensure audits, examinations, and compliance testing remains on track with strong resulting performance
- Prepare initial responses to requests related to regulators, audit, compliance, due diligence, and other partners
- Participate in the design and successful execution of internal control examinations and execute against assigned reviews
- Evaluate the effectiveness of controls in place to mitigate identified risk; review evidence, document testing results in a comprehensive and organized manner
- Collaborate with the legal team to ensure accurate management of legal docket and case preparation
- Analyze and research relevant rules, regulations, and trends impacting the financial services industry; draft regulatory responses
