Who you are
- 1+ years of sales experience that is focused on new customers
- Proven track record with Outbound calling (doesn’t have to be within IT or technology)
- Open to feedback, genuinely curious and constantly looking for ways to learn and improve

What the job involves
- Outbound calling into customers in the UK& Ireland territory
- You are the driver of building new business relationships, connecting with new customers who have expressed interest in Elastic
- Proactive and creative approaches to identify new opportunities with UK & Irish customers
- Qualifying and responding to incoming leads regarding the Elastic products, via marketing, web, events, phone inquiries
- Collaborate with sales, marketing and our partner team across the UK & Ireland region to develop new strategies to build our sales pipeline and grow our business
- Using Salesforce, Marketo, LinkedIn, and other networking tools to research accounts, identify key contacts and build targeted messaging
- Learn our technology and effectively communicate our value proposition with a technical audience. Work to understand their goals and challenges to better understand how Elastic can help their business
