Web and Mobile Quality Assurance Tester, Perkbox Vivup

• Knowledge of the SDLC using the agile Scrum methodology
• Good knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes (demonstrable experience)
• Experience in testing custom mobile applications and Web applications (component, integration via API & system testing)
• Experience testing with IOS & Android devices through Browserstack using TestFlight/Google play
• Experience in test design, creating test cases, test data, test plans and managing defect logs
• Ability to document and visualise test scenarios and outcomes available to technical and business stakeholders
• Understanding of mobile and web applications guidelines from UX, accessibility and performance point of view
• Experience in working with test management or bug reporting tools

Desirable

• The key responsibility for this role is to design and execute manual test cases against user story requirements for the Vivup & Highfive mobile applications whilst adhering to QA standards
• You will log and retest bugs, track them through to resolution, and be pro-active in identifying scenarios for regression testing and execute regression tests
• Liaising with stakeholders to identify areas of our mobile platforms in need of testing
• Review user story requirements
• Initial definition of test cases
• Implementation activities
• Inspection activities
• Detection and resolution of problems
• Delivery of satisfactory outcomes
• Performing functional, non-functional, automation (incl. regression) and performance tests
• Documenting the above and making it available to relevant Departments This includes flows/screens, as well as technical resolution documentation to developers
• Identifying areas of improvement for the QA functions of the business
