What the job involves
- We are seeking a Senior Product manager to build a large-scale, extensible search platform
- The search platform will unlock many features that give our customers a seamless experience across all of Fast, such as searching for products, sellers, historical transactions or payments
- Craft an innovative product vision, strategy and roadmap for our search platform
- Drive product requirements based on deep understanding of our customers
- Work closely with engineering & design to execute on roadmap
- Define business KPIs to measure product success
- Build rapidly & iterate continuously based on data-driven insights
- Maintain alignment with adjacent teams & stakeholders
Our take
Just like the name, Fast want to make logging in quicker and speed up the checkout process when shopping online.
Billions of transactions happen online every day and with each e-commerce platform often requiring their own log-in, passwords, and prompt for entering the same billing details each time, this is a tedious and repetitive process.
Fast aim to tackle this problem and have developed a short, 'optimised checkout' form that asks for five pieces of information (email, name, phone number, address and credit card information). Those credentials are securely stored so that when a user sees the option to use Fast, they know they can speed though the process without having to re-enter information.
With backing from Stripe (the largest and fastest growing player in payments), its payments-and-login solutions have the potential to be a major player helping to streamline people's digital entity online.
