Role
Who you are
- 10+ years of Marketing Technology or Product Management experience, specifically leading email operations and marketing data integrations for high-growth marketing organizations
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Braze email platform
- Braze experience including email operations leadership, including email development and quality assurance
- Experience managing customer segmentation across multiple channels and data sources
- Experience working with growth marketing frameworks, acquisition, lead nurture campaigns, and retention strategies
- CDP solutions experience; Segment preferred
- Prior experience working in fast scaling growth companies, subscription businesses and startups
- Technical skills with a focus on internal training and team enablement
- Technical proficiency requirements:
- HTML development for landing pages, emails, and in-app messages
- Google Analytics, Google Tag Management and other web metrics systems; and specifically how marketing cloud can work with other platforms
- Web optimization and CMS tools like Optimizely or WordPress a bonus
What the job involves
- Reporting to the Senior Director, Lifecycle and Integrated Marketing, we are looking for a Senior Manager of Lifecycle Operations to help lead and improve the technical elements that support marketing, including CRM and its marketing automation system Braze
- Build roadmaps, operational capacity plans, project plans, technical specs and work with other teams to ensure that Braze ESP functions according to standard methodologies
- Introduce new features and address any gaps brought up by third-party and internal audits
- Be the program manager for ESP migration needs by working with 3rd party vendors, Lifecycle, and Product teams
- Ensure that the team has the technical capabilities and can meet all the requirements to run planned lifecycle management strategies for global streaming and shop services
- Manage a team of email operations managers to develop and launch Lifecycle Marketing campaigns
- Partner with the Lifecycle team leads to forecast CRM operations capacity based on requirements and marketing calendars
- Manage the customer and prospect list health, monitor deliverability, troubleshoot issues and collaborate with partners to stay compliant across contracts, internal policies and international regulations
- Collaborate with analytics and data engineering teams to automate reporting, build dashboards and deliver daily, weekly and monthly insights
- Stay on top of new technologies, standard methodologies and competitive insights to provide recommendations on new technical solutions as they align with our goals
- Improve conversion rates across email, push, in-app metrics including by ensuring the team with system best practices
- Recommend and advocate for new system integrations in partnership with the Product Management team

While Crunchyroll initially offered a free, ad-supported tier to its vast community, it appears poised to phase out this option, transitioning to a subscription-based model for all new series. Despite this shift, the platform has implemented a global reduction in fees to stimulate subscription uptake. The success of this strategy remains to be seen, but past experiences with companies like Hulu suggest that it may drive subscription growth and mitigate piracy
