Our take
The applications that run a company's day-to-day operations need simple, flexible and secure backups. This is vital to unlock data mobility and control on a granular level, enabling teams to safely control workloads. HYCU's platform provides exactly this service.
The company's solutions are purpose-built for a client's chosen cloud platforms, delivering a native experience with full application awareness. HYCU effectively spans on-prem, cloud, SaaS apps, and native apps. Founded not too long ago in 2018, it has already seen success; boasting over 3000 customers worldwide and over 400 global partners.
HYCU was previously privately funded but changed its strategy during the pandemic; it secured two impressive rounds of funding in 2022 that were used to expand its data protection products, capabilities and improve brand awareness. HYCU is now working smartly to increase its appeal in the market, for example by launching an aiR intelligence layer to interrogate backups.
