Role
Who you are
- 2+ years in account management or client-facing role required
- 1+ years of experience in SEM (Search Engine Marketing) / PPC (Pay Per Click) advertising strategies and experience in measuring the success of such campaigns required
- 1+ years of experience in digital marketing sales is a plus
- A “go-getter” – results-oriented and puts in extra effort to exceed expectations
- An outgoing, friendly, and enthusiastic individual who can positively develop client relationships whilst also managing client expectations
- You have excellent communication and personal organization skills, self-motivation, and can work under pressure
- Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively
- Goal-driven, self-motivated, team player with a passion for learning
What the job involves
- Our Account Managers build relationships with our clients through our product offerings such as website creation and digital marketing
- In this role, you will discuss the retailer's current performance, review objectives, propose solutions, and help close upsells and cross-sells
- You will be responsible for maintaining a positive relationship with your clients and working closely with other teams to provide the best customer experience to your clients
- Manage a high-volume book of clients while establishing and maintaining strong relationships throughout the client’s partnership with the company
- Manage new client kick-off meetings which includes understanding client goals, aligning on strategy, determining metrics for measuring success, and building a collaborative relationship with clients
- Organize and facilitate quarterly client business reviews to review the client's performance and provide strategic recommendations for areas of opportunity
- Proactively find trends across client accounts to identify opportunities, address problems, and avoid recurring issues
- Achieve customer retention, upsell, and cross-sell quotas
- Make outbound phone calls and conduct webinars with current clients while maintaining an up-to-date CRM for tracking
- Work cross-functional to ensure the success of your client's online campaigns and overall performance
Our take
The flooring industry is one that has been largely overlooked by the tech industry. Broadlume is taking advantage of this gap in the market, by providing tech-enabled marketing and management tools specifically designed for flooring companies.
Initially launched as adtech company AdHawk, which served a wide range of clients, Broadlume shifted its focus to the flooring industry after its 2018 acquisition of FloorForce. Now serving thousands of flooring companies, Broadlume has expanded its services to include website creation and operations tools - most recently adding payment processing to its ever-expanding suite.
Broadlume's founders have certainly leveraged their experience as members of Google's Accelerated Growth team to build such a comprehensive set of SaaS tools for flooring retailers. With relatively little direct competition, the company's growth is set to continue, especially off the back of its acquisition by global software and content solutions provider Cyncly in 2024. Broadlume's everything-in-one-place approach both attracts and retains its user base with a high degree of success.
