Role
Who you are
- Experience designing consumer products with a strong commercial awareness, and strong creative judgement
- Experience working in or with fintech products is desirable
- Strong UX and interaction design skills across complex product domains with an ability to translate them into clear, usable and scalable interaction models
- You communicate exceptionally with stakeholders, clients and collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams to shape and deliver design work
- Proven ability to design both mobile and web-based platforms with a solid understanding of visual design, UI patterns and brand expression
- Proven track record of taking features and products from concept (0) to launch (1), with deep experience building new solutions from the ground up
- Confident using user research techniques and methodologies to inform and improve design
- Comfortable designing for API-driven and modular platforms
- Experience using customer feedback and real usage to continuously iterate and improve designs
- Comfortable experimenting with AI tools for rapid exploration and prototyping
- Illustration, animation or motion skills are a plus
- Excited by the prospect of joining the early stages of a business and happy to get involved in multiple areas
- Design QA/UAT is desirable

- Zero-to-one function building — creating product delivery frameworks, engineering performance systems, and product delivery processes from the ground up
- Building and leveraging AI technology to enhance product features and development workflows
- Lead design from discovery through delivery, grounded in user-centred (UCD) principles
- Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to shape features that balance user experience (UX), commercial goals and technical feasibility
- Break down complex and ambiguous problem spaces into clear flows, interactions and design solutions
- Create sketches, wireframes and low-to-high fidelity prototypes to explore, validate and communicate ideas
- Design intuitive and well-crafted user interfaces across mobile and web applying brands consistently across product interactions
- Design experiences that interface with SDKs, APIs, and modular frameworks especially across mobile and platform layers
- Manage and mentor other designers within the team
- Contribute to and help scale, create and maintain our design systems
- Facilitate and participate in design sprints and workshops, turning ideas and insights into actionable concepts
- Apply user research methodologies and usability testing to inform and improve designs

With the vision to making the modern world’s most bespoke wealth services, Project Arnaud is building the UK’s first neo-private bank. Attached to 11FS Holdings, the project aims to address the lack of modern services for wealth customers, who so far remain underserved.
Project Arnaud is launching fully-funded, which enables its team to access the resources they will need to create and build their vision. The team itself consists of people who have founded or scaled the likes of Starling, Monzo, Nutmeg, Mettle, Mox, Bud, Fronted and Wealthify, which means the project is supported by a wealth of knowledge and experience.
