Who you are
- 5+ years of experience managing enterprise partners/clients at a tech-driven company, with consistent out-performance against goals
- High ownership matched with urgency in execution to grow our largest strategic partnerships
- Strategic muscle and a data driven approach - you can synthesize information and data to inform broader strategies
- Strong organization skills - you have the ability to manage a portfolio of partners across a variety of initiatives, and track the success of each
- Exceptional relationship skills - the ability to engage with different levels of stakeholders within an organization – from entry-level to C-suite – and effectively communicate complex ideas
- Cross-functional leadership and collaboration - you can lead through influence, and bring cross-functional teams together to implement new initiatives
- Strong proficiency in excel and powerpoint (or equivalents) to conduct analysis and create compelling presentations
- Nice to have: Previous experience with B2B2C Financial Services, Healthcare, or Content Publisher partnerships
What the job involves
- We’re looking for an enterprise partnerships leader, reporting into our Head of Business Development & Partnerships, to further scale our partnerships work, as the critical channel that fuels Chapter’s growth
- Your time will be spent rapidly growing the size and value of our portfolio of existing partnerships
- You’ll help to set the goals and overall strategy for current accounts with growth as the key goal
- You’ll work cross-functionally with our Product, Advisory, Marketing, and Operations leaders to further define new products and offerings that are compelling to our partners
- Design comprehensive, vertical-specific partnership growth strategies with ambitious targets
- Own the execution of those strategies – establish, measure, and drive towards partner engagement and referral goals
- Own partner relationships across the post-signing lifecycle, including on-boarding, custom implementations, ongoing education, relationship management, and account growth
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing to enhance ongoing partner development efforts
- Be the voice of partners internally, maintain a deep understanding of stakeholder needs (e.g. Financial Advisors, Health System Executives, etc.)
- Grow the partner success function by institutionalizing best practices via scalable processes
Our take
By 2030, over 20 percent of Americans will be older than 65, the age at which most people become eligible for Medicare. Medicare coverage is too important to get wrong: signing up too late can result in lifetime penalties. Furthermore, plans have such significant differences in benefits and premiums that it’s critical to research every option. Yet, previously those navigating Medicare faced two bad options: work with a traditional broker (incentivised by commission rather than their clients' best interest), or try to navigate the maze alone.
Chapter is a Medicare advisory firm which set out to change this. Their platform integrates the data on all Medicare plans and allows its advisers to make the most informed recommendations. Its compensation model sets the company apart from traditional brokers as what advisers make does not depend on specific plan recommendations. This ensures the work being done is genuine and ethical.
With considerable funding at its back, the company plans to expand its team and further develop its product, whilst establishing itself as a strong voice in the fight to make Medicare easier, safer, and better for seniors.
