- Proven experience in leading global talent acquisition teams, preferably in a high-growth technology company
- Strong understanding of global talent markets, particularly in Europe, the Middle East, India, China, and Southeast Asia
- Extensive experience managing teams across multiple regions and time zones, with a demonstrated ability to drive results in diverse cultural environments
- In-depth knowledge of talent acquisition technologies, applicant tracking systems, and data analytics to measure recruiting performance and identify areas for improvement
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and hiring managers on talent acquisition strategies
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization
- A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a passion for finding innovative ways to attract top talent
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees or certifications in HR or Talent Acquisition are a plus

- The Director of Global Talent Acquisition will play a critical role in shaping Nothing’s future by building and leading a high-performing team of recruiters across multiple global regions
- This individual will drive the recruitment strategy, build strong relationships with hiring leaders, and ensure we attract top-tier talent that aligns with our company culture and vision
- This role will report to the VP of People (London based) and will be responsible for overseeing the full recruitment lifecycle while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and talent needs across diverse international markets
- You will be a key player in scaling our workforce and ensuring we continue to hire the best talent across a variety of disciplines at a rapid pace
- Critical to your success will be forming strong partnerships with our global leadership team as well as with our People leadership team for best practice and consistency

- Strategic Leadership: Lead and develop a global team of talent acquisition professionals across Europe, Middle East, India, China, and Southeast Asia. Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture while promoting operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Talent Acquisition Strategy: Design and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that aligns with Nothing’s business goals and growth objectives across diverse geographies. Drive sourcing, recruitment marketing, and employer branding efforts to attract world-class talent
- Stakeholder Management: Partner with senior leadership, hiring managers, and People business partners to understand workforce needs, talent gaps, and critical hiring priorities. Provide strategic advice on market trends, compensation, and competitive hiring practices
- Recruitment Process Optimization: Ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability across the recruitment process globally. Implement best practices for sourcing, interviewing, and candidate selection, while driving an exceptional candidate experience from initial engagement to offer acceptance
- Metrics & Reporting: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track recruiting effectiveness, provide actionable insights, and continuously improve talent acquisition strategies. Report on progress and results to senior leadership
- Talent Pool Development: Build strong talent pipelines across key functions, industries, and locations (our offices are in London, New Delhi and Shenzhen). Implement innovative strategies to proactively engage with high-potential candidates and ensure Nothing is always top-of-mind for the best talent
- Global Compliance & Market Knowledge: Ensure all recruitment practices comply with local labour laws, regulations, and cultural nuances across various regions. Stay current on regional labour market trends and adjust recruiting strategies accordingly

The company was co-founded by Carl Pei, who previously co-founded OnePlus, a mobile tech company that operates in more than 30 countries worldwide. Since its 2021 Series A with the backing of Alphabets' VC arm, Nothing has launched a series of products including the Nothing Phone (1), a mid-range but aesthetically exciting android-powered device, along with earphones and, interestingly, a craft beer.
Nothing has successfully delivered a flagship product that has held its own in a fiercely competitive market populated with the likes of Apple, Samsung, and Google, along with mid-range rivals Honor and OnePlus. The company launched a follow-up device called Nothing Ear in 2024, a wireless headphone with Chat GPT integrations. If this is as well received as its predecessor then Nothing could grow into a household name.
