Role
Who you are
- Self-starter with a passion for execution and strong collaboration and communication skills
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to explain IT concepts and technologies to business leaders, and business concepts to IT and business applications staff
- Experience with multiple project management methodologies (ex. PMI, PMBOK, and agile)
- A minimum of 10 years of IT management experience, with a focus on strategy, operations, and project management. Previous experience with M&A technology integration is a significant advantage
- Demonstrated expertise in ITGC controls execution and IT budget management
- Program management skills and experience, plus significant knowledge of project planning tools
- A distinctive blend of business, IT, financial, and communication skills
- Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources are usually not in direct control of this role
- Excellent analytic, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills
- Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies and how other enterprises are employing them to drive digital business
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic resource plan
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience. A Master's degree, such as an MBA, is preferred
- PMP Certification a plus
What the job involves
- The Director of IT Strategy and Operations, reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), will provide strategic leadership and management for various IT teams within Intapp. This role requires a high degree of cross-functional collaboration and involves interfacing closely with other departments within the organization
- The role's responsibilities span several key IT areas, including the Project Management Office (PMO), IT General Controls (ITGC) execution, budget management, cross-functional release management, communications & change management, and M&A integration. This leadership position reports to the Chief Information Officer and is based at Intapp HQ in Palo Alto, CA
- Develop and implement IT strategic initiatives and operations that align with IntApp's business goals and roadmap, under the guidance of the CIO. Create multi-year business/technology roadmaps for consumption by C-Level executives
- Lead the PMO, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery of all IT projects while maintaining quality and scope
- Supervise the execution of ITGC, upholding compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Oversee the IT department's budget, guaranteeing efficient use of resources and delivering value
- Facilitate cross-functional release management, aligning all stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment of IT systems
- Design and enforce an effective communication and change management strategy to drive IT transformation initiatives
- Spearhead M&A technology integration efforts to guarantee seamless transitions and minimize operational disruptions
- Mentor and lead small, high-performing teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment across the organization
- Operate a cross functional IT Steering Committee and regular agile project tracking and reporting cadence
