Who you are
- Work Experience/Technical Skills:
- Strong conceptual and technical skills, as well as a proven ability to use (or learn) a variety of software: Adobe CC: Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, 2D/3D animation, InDesign
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and have strong project management skills
- Be a great communicator, receive and interpret feedback, and meet tight deadlines
- 6-8+ years of experience, with a strong visual design foundation
- Education:
- BS Degree or equivalent
- Competencies:
- Presentation design with PowerPoint, html animation, UI design, Print production and best practices, a love of typography and brochure design, Booth, exhibit and event design in both virtual and on-site environments, familiarity with tools such as Asana, Marketo, and Sharepoint, an interest in automation and streamlining processes
- Ability to work with After Effects, including basic understanding of compositions for project organization, and basic animations via the timeline, expressions, and plugins
- Familiarity with Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, or similar level 3D scene creation tools, to include basic modeling and texturing
- Presentation design with PowerPoint, UI design, Print production and best practices, a love of typography and collateral design — brochures, ads, events, use tools to create html5 ads
- Familiarity with tools such as Asana, Marketo, and SharePoint, an interest in automation and streamlining processes
What the job involves
- Conceptualize, create and animate vector illustrations in the house style
- Understanding of using an NLE (Premiere, Final Cut, or similar) and media compression tools like Adobe Media Encoder, Handbrake, and VidCoder to produce broadcast to web quality/size video output
- Efficiently set up jobs for repeatable execution by creating templates, using, or creating scripts, and other technical aspects of design is most welcome. An eye for not only producing great final deliverables but also for building them in a way that is easy for others to work with
- Meet with internal clients to understand needs and share ideas
- Respond to user feedback, data/analytics, and client feedback to improve the creative work in future iterations
- The ability to partner with other creative team members and key stakeholders to create content used across a variety of platforms (web, mobile, video, social, print and more)
- Own conceptual development, direction and delivery of visual design projects across multiple channels including web, social, and experience
- Help promote internal awareness of design trends, brand standards and processes, through a design culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Gather customer feedback and conduct sure testing to validate design decisions
- You’ll be the lead on all brand reviews ensuring that all communications internally as well as externally reflects our brand aesthetics and values
