Who you are

Experience in SMB / MM SaaS sales, ideally in HR-tech/ Ed-tech
1+ year Account Executive experience with a history of overachievement
Proven track record of 360 selling using a variety of outbound approaches

Desirable

Experience working with CRMs like Hubspot, Salesforce
Experience with sales tools like Sales Nav, Apollo and other prospecting tools

What the job involves

We are bringing micro-learning to the workplace and our customers now range from the Fortune 100, Tech Unicorns through to rapidly growing scale ups . We've been experiencing rapid international revenue growth in the last year, and are now looking for someone to come in and take the 5Mins platform into as many organisations as possible
The role will work closely with our senior sales team (previously sales leaders at GoCardless and Perkbox) to:
Identify high fit prospects and outbound directly and in tandem with your SDR to book meetings with key decision makers
Plan and lead discovery meetings, demos, pilots and negotiations through to contract signature
Manage your own calendar staying on top of prospecting and pipeline simultaneously
Work closely with CSM team to ensure all client needs are met and handovers are seamless
Work with Product team to feed back on client requests and evolve the roadmap

Our take

The UK is suffering a growing workplace skills gap. Many are hoping the answer can come in the form of so-called ‘microcredentials’ - highly specific short form skills training that can be easily delivered and digested in the workplace. We’re seeing this already in the breakdown of post-16 education into micro-learning modules, but it’s a format that’s yet to be carried over into businesses. 5Mins is looking to change that.

5Mins describes itself as a TikTok for workplace learning, with a current roster of over 12,000 short-form educational videos. It’s gamified with leaderboards and a social feed. Plus, it’s AI-driven to deliver relevant daily content. In sum, it’s carrying over the tried-and-tested high engagement model of social media to the employment sector, where demand for this content is growing.

Successful giants like Google, Apple, and Pixar have all fostered a strong learning culture, with brands like Cisco making the cultural shift to follow suit. It’s easier than, and for many organisations preferable to, rehiring or redeploying their workforce . Plus, it offers a strong employee incentive that keeps businesses competitive in a hot labour market. So the time is right for 5Mins, and with a strong model and an impressive content library it could see strong demand.
