Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred
- 5+ Years of proven experience in a financial role, preferably within the SaaS, fintech, or transactional marketplaces, with previous experience at an accounting firm
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles, financial reporting requirements, and accounting best practices
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Experience with financial and business intelligence systems and software, such as QuickBooks, Looker, or similar platforms
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence key stakeholders
- High level of integrity, and attention to detail
What the job involves
- As a Sr. Finance Manager at ResQ, you will learn how to support a high growth organization's finances
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP standards
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with department heads and senior management to support strategic planning and decision-making processes
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs), to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
- Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow by monitoring accounts receivable, accounts payable, and liquidity needs, and implement strategies to optimize cash flow efficiency
- Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, tax obligations, and accounting standards, and coordinate with external auditors as needed
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes, controls, and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies and initiatives that support the company's growth objectives
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to foster a high-performing and collaborative work environment

The company is expecting to continue growing its team across engineering, sales and operation roles. ResQ is also earmarking money for launches in new markets.
