Who you are
- You have 2+ year experience in business development, account management, expansion or a similar field
- You have strong analytical skills (being able to rationalize your filtering approach of good vs bad locations) and are able to turn numbers into valuable insights
- You excel at managing priorities, demonstrating autonomy and possessing strong organizational skills in your planning
- Great communicator, you enjoy tackling commercial challenges and can easily connect with new people, even when facing objections
- With a resilient mindset and a strong focus on achieving results, you have the ability to translate long-term visions into actionable plans
- You know how to juggle priorities and thrive in a fast-paced challenging environment and you a willing to join a scale up in full construction !

What the job involves
- In 2024, we announced the launch of our operations in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 and are in the process of assembling a top-tier team to spearhead the country's development from the ground up. - As Business Developer in the Netherlands, you'll play a pivotal role in the expansion of Electra's fast-charging network in the country. Managing the full sales cycle, you'll be instrumental in establishing robust processes and strategies to drive revenue growth.
- In this influential position, you'll serve as the primary ambassador for Electra, embodying our brand's essence and values, and establishing lasting relationships with our key clients
- Tailoring Electra's offerings to align with market nuances and closely monitoring local policies to adapt accordingly
- Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a seamless process
- Secure committee validation for potential sites, demonstrating thoroughness and adherence to regulatory requirements.

As more people make the change to electric vehicles, public charging stations are in high demand. Electra is revolutionising electric vehicle charging with its installation of fast charging stations across major and medium-sized urban areas across Europe. In addition to the obvious benefit of having access to a fast-charging station, the company’s mobile and web application makes finding a station as simple as possible with its unique features.
The company has received support and recognition from the French government, joining the French Tech Next40, a government support program dedicated to the most promising French scale-ups and future European heavyweights.
The company saw a substantial injection of funding in mid-2022 that has enabled it to accelerate its coverage of France and further expand across European markets in Belgium, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, and more. Planning to deploy 8,000 charging stations by 2030, the young company secured a $430 million green loan facility in 2025 to accelerate its progress.
