Who you are

5+ years of experience in event marketing, with a track record of success in developing and executing successful campaigns
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team
Experience with budget management and analysis of campaign performance
Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to make informed decisions
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with online webinars and digital marketing initiatives
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to travel (e.g. to other offices, client locations, etc) as determined by location and focus

What the job involves

Develop and execute marketing plans for all events, including identifying target audiences, creating messaging, and selecting appropriate marketing channels
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and design, to ensure alignment and successful execution of marketing campaigns
Drive program execution with MDRs including scripting and training on key campaign initiatives
Collaborate with Growth Engineering teams to automate campaign impact measurements and business KPIs
Manage budgets for all marketing campaigns, ensuring efficient use of resources to drive maximum ROI
Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments as needed
Manage relationships with vendors, including event production companies, to ensure successful execution of events
Develop and execute marketing plans for webinars, including promotional emails, social media campaigns, and other digital marketing initiatives
Work with the content team to create compelling webinar content and drive attendance to webinars
Analyze and report on the performance of webinars, making recommendations for improvements and adjustments as needed
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that webinars are aligned with the sales strategy and drive revenue

DevRev helps developers build better products for customers through a platform that connects them to the revenue their applications generate. Their headless, dev-centric CRM hopes to help developers clock technical issues faster by showing more directly how customers use their products.

When the company emerged from stealth mode in 2021, they were already well backed by considerable funding and a highly experienced leadership team. Collating and usefully displaying customer feedback for developers, especially using AI and machine learning, is a tough nut to crack. So the DevRev has been savvy in front-loading talent and investment.

The founders’ previous venture Nutanix saw huge success, reaching Unicorn status before going public in 2016. DevRev and its team reached the same in 2024 off the back of Series A funding. This ambitious startup has already delivered the first iteration of what it hopes will become the largest global developer relations product.
