Role
Who you are
- Proven track record of anticipating market trends, crafting forward-thinking product strategies, and overseeing the launch of innovative products that align with both company vision and customer needs
- Significant experience evangelising and managing a robust and empowered product culture in a rapidly scaling tech business
- Significant experience managing both product and product design and the intersection of those with software development
- Significant experience in scaling B2C & B2B products
- Strong, analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional leadership qualities with demonstrable ability to inspire and guide a young and ambitious team to success
- Demonstrable experience of launching & scaling products internationally
What the job involves
- Product Vision & Strategy: Define and drive the product strategy in alignment with the company's goals and objectives. Oversee multiple product roadmaps that align with the company's strategic direction and growth objectives
- Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of product managers and designers. Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with key stakeholders, including the executive team, engineering, brand, operations and sales to ensure product goals are met and that there's a cohesive inter-departmental strategy
- Market & Customer Insight: Continuously monitor and analyse market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to ensure our products remain competitive and relevant
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the complete product lifecycle, from ideation to sunset, ensuring that products continually innovate and are aligned with market needs
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the product department budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources
- Risk Management: Identify potential product risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that products are continually optimised for performance, usability, and reliability

- I originally started Zero Gravity from my hometown bedroom in West Yorkshire with the last £200 of my student loan. I come from a single-parent background, went to a state school, and hired my first team member at the age of 22.
