Who you are

2+ years of commercial experience as an underwriter or credit analyst
Strong general financial acumen
Fluency in multiple languages beneficial
Proficiency in Excel
Experience using SQL is preferred but not a requirement

What the job involves

As a Credit Risk Analyst within our growing team, you'll be responsible for end-to-end risk mitigation decisioning while creating a positive and smooth client journey that ultimately helps businesses gain the funding they need to grow
You will play a key role in helping us shape our risk underwriting, monitoring, lending policies, end-to-end credit procedures, and the development of our decisioning tools
Make sound judgments on revenue-based finance applications
Strong commercial awareness across a wide number of sectors
Ensure timely completion of all credit applications within agreed SLAs
Be responsible for the ongoing risk management, monitoring, and control of a portfolio of clients
Ability to conduct portfolio analysis
Support the collections and recovery process
Assist the Sales and Account Management teams with risk related queries
Make recommendations for the ongoing development of systems, processes, and business practices to provide improvements in efficiency and capacity
Ensure compliance with the AML and Onboarding policies and procedures on a client level
Prepare and recommend credit decisions on applications to the Credit Risk Committee
Engage sophisticated clients directly when required

Salary benchmarks

Our take

Existing financing solutions for online businesses are far from optimum and not aligned with company goals of revenue generation and equity retention. To remedy this, Outfund has set out to create a fairer way for online businesses to grow fast. Based solely on revenues and performance, and targeting businesses that take online payments, Outfund currently offers between £10,000 and £2 million in funding. Companies must have a minimum of £10,000 monthly turnover, and must have been trading for at least six months.

Outfund charges a share of revenue, one fixed fee of 5% regardless of how the funds are spent. This is different from other providers in the space who charge an increased fee if the funding is used for stock as opposed to marketing.

Armed in 2022 with fresh capital, Outfund has big ambitions for rapid global growth. It is now pledging to invest more than £500m in lending to over 5,000 businesses over 2022 and 23 and will increase its lending limit to £10 million per company to open up to more businesses.
