Role
Who you are
- Deep knowledge and experience of the Payments space in AMER
- Enterprise software (SaaS) sales experience, selling into Payments companies and/or use cases
- Experience within financial services, cybersecurity, or cryptocurrency is preferred
- Experience formalizing and supporting the co-sell motion in working with technology partners is preferred
- An understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency
- Track record of over-achievement in an enterprise sales position
- Entrepreneurial and relentless hunting attitude
- A willingness to prospect and qualify for new opportunities
- Thrives in a team-selling environment

What the job involves
- As part of the AMER Fireblocks sales team, you will own payments sales strategy across AMER, working to dominate the blockchain payments landscape and playing a meaningful role in scaling one of the fastest-growing companies in the Blockchain and Cybersecurity field
- You’ll target businesses from the Payments space across AMER, working closely with the Regional sales teams, Sales Engineers and the Payments product team
- Responsible for building and executing the payments sales strategy across AMER
- Achieving monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Working closely with Fireblocks BDRs and GTM Team
- Building and maintaining relationships with prospects and customers
- Prospecting, territory, and account planning
- Updating and maintaining the Fireblocks CRM
- Build your team as you demonstrate success and ability
- We have a comprehensive onboarding and training program for all new employees
Our take
The derivatives market has always been attractive for larger investors, but some of the hurdles to overcome are capital efficiency, custody and security. Fireblocks allows for the trading of derivatives on any asset, using any form of collateral while receiving cross-margin benefits across counterparties. Essentially, it enables institutional traders to move digital assets without the operational or security headache.
Fireblocks is banking on assets like cryptocurrencies becoming a new part of the mainstream trade of financial institutions. Although cryptocurrencies are known for being notoriously unstable, when traded properly they can be hugely profitable. So, in a safer landscape, there is a lot of incentive for new participants.
Basically, by raising security standards, a new crop of institutional entities is able to set up shop in the crypto world. This means more business for Fireblocks, and a stabler market which then attracts even more interested parties. The company continues to develop its offering, for example through the recent acquisition of TRES which enables it to deliver the first complete operating system for digital assets.
