Who you are

Experience of TDD, BDD or other development practices
Experience of CI/CD processes & tools
Experience in Touch, Geo-location and other device APIs
Knowledge of UI frameworks (either Android, iOS, XML), MVP application design and complex, reactive touch-based UI
Familiarity with Google Play Store programming and content guidelines
Understanding of data structures, algorithms and software design optimized for embedded systems. Specialist domains: Embedded/device systems, mobile optimized websites, mobile web browsers, client application development for Windows/Mac (Chrome, WebKit, etc.), third party libraries for either Android or iOS

What the job involves

The Android Developers will work within a talented team to expand our cloud-based platform using Agile/Scrum methods
Responsible for delivering key product features and improvements to the platform that will have a direct effect on helping millions of people around the world experience online payment and purchasing services for the first time
Contribute to key architectural decisions on the application design and ensure that new features are introduced for maximum user convenience whilst maintaining compatibility with as large a user base as possible
Developing apps with a focus on readable, maintainable and tested code using Kotlin, Coroutines and modern android development practices
Enthusiastic and experienced in using engineering best practices, clean code and unit testing
Understanding of mobile applications security
Have a good eye for design and be passionate about building apps that perform fast, never crash and look great
