• Relevant Experience - You have worked and excelled in B2B SaaS Business Development. Ideally in the field of B2B financial or alternative data providers
• Passion - You appreciate the venture capital and private equity market and have the ability to learn and understand why and how each of our client types engages with our product and our data. You love and have a basic understanding of startups and technology
• Entrepreneurial Spirit - You’re a team player that comes up with and is willing to try new ideas to achieve greater levels of success. You’re excited by having loads of autonomy to move fast and build processes end-to-end
• Driven - You love to meet and exceed goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Communication - You’re an excellent articulator and communicator, both written and verbally. You possess strong negotiation skills and can effectively close leads. You enjoy networking and talking with new people every day - terrific at it all the way to the Executive level

Desirable

• Overseeing the full Sales Process – You manage the sales process of your deals well and at high velocity (From lead qualification – demo – negotiations – closing)
• Account Management - You retain clients and key accounts while nurturing existing and new relationships. You identify renewal and upselling opportunities ahead of time
• Conducting Demos to Prospects – You reach out and conduct qualification calls as well as demos with prospects. This also includes communication with inbound prospects
• Leading Trials – You design and lead high-impact trials to showcase value add to the prospect during this phase
• Owning and Delivering your ARR Target – You generate qualified sales leads and turn them into new customers, resulting in additional ARR at or above quota level
• Strategic Thinking and Optimisation – You test, track, and optimise outbound campaign effectiveness and conversion of prospects during each phase to have a short sales cycle. You create outreach strategies for new lead generation methods and conduct market research to identify new leads
• Tracking – You efficiently leverage tools like our CRM system to track progress of your deals
