Who you are

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent work experience
7+ years experience using C++
Familiar with linux kernel driver and device tree development
Strong object oriented programming skills
Very familiar with edge computing devices and single board computers
Experience with industrial communication protocols such as CAN, TCP, wireless communication
Hands on debugging skills using classic electronics tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters etc
Expert in Linux based computing systems

What the job involves

This role offers ample growth opportunities while working side-by-side with an impassioned, multi-disciplinary team spanning mechanical design, software, computer vision, systems integration and ops to design and operationalize world-changing technology
The senior software engineer will work closely with other members of the Automation Software Team to develop and improve the software for Fulfil’s custom robots and automation equipment
Software projects will include a mix of algorithm design and performance evaluation, API development, data processing, and production optimizations, as well as high robustness and error recovery from software down to device driver and kernel level

Fulfil Solutions is looking to solve these challenges by offering an automated grocery fulfilment system. Unlike other automation being utilised in the grocery industry, Fulfil's robots do all the picking and packing of groceries for online orders, taking away the manual element and, in turn, reducing costs for companies and their customers.

Emerging from stealth, the company announced it had received substantial funding to help further its goal of bringing robotic automation to the grocery industry. Through the capital gained, the startup will accelerate its growth and expand its operations.
