Who you are
- 5+ years of experience engaging enterprise clients within the cybersecurity and professional services sectors
- Demonstrated passion for multi-channel sales strategies and driving results across diverse platforms
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage executive stakeholders
- Consistent track record of exceeding sales targets, showcasing a relentless drive for performance and growth
- Proven expertise in SaaS solution sales to CTOs, CISOs, and senior security leadership

What the job involves
- We are seeking an Account Executive to sell our Pentesting and Offensive Security services to our UK customers and prospects
- In this role, you’ll own the full sales cycle - from identifying and prospecting new accounts to building a strong pipeline, delivering impactful demos, and closing deals with mid-market US customers
- Additionally, you’ll develop and execute upsell and cross-sell strategies within your customer portfolio, contributing directly to their success—and ours
- You will work with a supportive team that will provide training and the opportunity for career advancement
- This is a full-time, remote opportunity
- Own the full sales cycle within the designated territory, driving engagements from prospecting to close
- Conduct in-depth account research to identify high-value targets and key decision-makers
- Continuously generate and progress pipeline opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship building
- Identify upsell potential and expand footprint by uncovering new opportunities and cultivating additional stakeholder relationships
- Forge strategic alliances with industry leaders and ecosystem partners to enhance market penetration
- Refine and optimize sales processes, tools, and methodologies to drive efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success and Solution Architecture teams to ensure alignment with client needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Engage with clients directly and regularly, fostering trust and ensuring long-term satisfaction through in-person interactions
Our take
Cobalt is a penetration testing platform providing PtaaS to significantly improve the efficiency and deliverability of penetration testing. The company is working to transform a multi-billion dollar industry that is set to grow in value as vulnerabilities become an increasing liability. Usefully for Cobalt, this applies across smaller and larger businesses alike, as the use (and protection) of data becomes increasingly important across all scales.
Its approach, using a curated marketplace of 400+ highly vetted ethical hackers, is pioneering in an industry typically hobbled by inefficient practices. Existing services tend to deliver a PDF list of vulnerabilities at the end of a testing period. Cobalt delivers results in real-time, integrated into the client’s existing environment.
In an age where hacker tech is continuously and rapidly developing, a service allowing companies to match this with continuous (as opposed to periodic) pen-testing will no doubt prove a vital and attractive tool.
