Senior Data Engineer, Everlaw

• At least 8 years of experience as a BI Engineer, Data Engineer, or in a similar role
• Proven expertise in PostgreSQL, including writing and optimizing complex SQL queries
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Fivetran
• Proficiency with dbt for data transformation and modeling
• Proficiency with Looker for building and maintaining dashboards and reports
• Experience in financial and revenue reporting is a must
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

• Everlaw is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Senior Data Engineer with experience in financial and revenue reporting to join our Enterprise Technology team
• The Enterprise Technology team at Everlaw is an internal, cross-functional team that owns our core business systems and data infrastructure
• In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions, enabling the finance team to make data-driven decisions
• You will leverage your experience with PostgreSQL, Fivetran, dbt (data build tool), Looker, and other modern data tools to build and optimize our data infrastructure and reporting processes

• Design and implement robust data models to support financial and revenue reporting
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data delivery
• Ensure data integrity and security in alignment with organizational and compliance standards
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Looker to track key financial and revenue metrics
• Collaborate with finance teams to understand reporting requirements and provide actionable insights
• Work closely with finance stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy
• Implement data validation and testing processes to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Monitor data workflows and troubleshoot issues proactively
