Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2+ years in a tech lead role. Ideally in a scale up environment
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing engineering teams
- Experience owning and delivering on technical product vision and executing on roadmaps
- Strong technical expertise in data and analytics SaaS
- Knowledge and experience in implementing cloud security best practices
- Ability to translate business objectives into tech and product strategy
- Confidence in our tech stack: Typescript, React, Postgres, Docker, Next.js, Node.js, AWS
- Strong organisational skills with proven ability to develop, document and enforce processes
- Degree in Computer Science or a STEM field from a top university
What the job involves
- You cultivate an engineering team culture of excellence and foster collaboration; you conduct performance reviews and career development sessions
- Tap into your existing network of talents to attract tech talent and build a magnet for high-calibre and high-achieving engineers
- Set long-term technical goals in alignment with business objectives, working closely with the CEO/COO
- You are on top of GenAI technologic advancements and pro-actively bring those in
- Initiate, document and safe-guard engineering processes and practices
- Own and deliver on project timelines, you are not afraid to commit and deliver on high-value projects
- Manage engineering resources effectively; you set the annual tech budget in cooperation with the COO and build a business case for relevant investments
- Enable our commercial team; join high-stakes prospect and customer calls, develop externally shareable documentation
