Role
Who you are
- Proven Senior Sales Experience (3+ years) In Sales For Professional Services Business E.g Consulting, Advertising or Digital Marketing
- Knowledge of the advertising and marketing industry is essential
- Experience selling professional services (e.g., consulting, advertising/digital marketing, professional training, architecture, law, or accounting)
- Demonstrated ability to close high-value monthly retainer deals
- Experience leveraging modern CRM / lead nurturing systems (e.g., Pipedrive, Chilipiper, HubSpot, Calendly, Salesforce, Mailchimp, Pipedrive) for pipeline management, sales forecasting, and reporting
- Skilled in using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other prospecting tools for outreach and pipeline development
- Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills
- Ability to present complex marketing solutions clearly
- Proven track record of negotiating and closing high-ticket retainers
- Capability to design and execute a structured sales plan aligned with company growth objectives
- Sound understanding of digital marketing funnels, conversion optimization, and analytics
- Experience setting up, running an optimising cold email / outbound sales platforms
Desirable
- Expert technical knowledge of the modern outbound sales stack, to generate and convert your own leads
- Knowledge of Sales Automation Tools (Make.com, IFTT, Zapier, Instantly, Lemlist, Phantom)
- An interest in Ai and ai productivity tools
- Ad Agency knowledge / experience / background
- Familiarity with digital marketing KPIs, campaign strategies, and creative production processes
- History of building and leading successful sales teams
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, creative, product)
- Established connections within industries like SaaS, eCommerce, B2B tech, or other professional services
What the job involves
- Cultivate existing and new client relationships to secure new opportunities for the company, especially focusing on UK & US business
- Full Sales Pipeline Ownership
- Develop and implement robust strategies to generate and qualify leads, utilizing CRMs and outreach tools
- Maintain healthy pipeline stages (prospecting, qualification, proposal, negotiation, close) with accurate forecasting
- Consultative Selling
- Understand client objectives deeply and propose tailored monthly retainer packages (user acquisition, social media management, B2B marketing) to meet their growth goals
- Collaborate with internal marketing experts to craft proposals that showcase our unique value proposition
- Relationship Building & Client Retention
- Nurture relationships throughout the sales process to drive recurring revenue and long-term client partnerships
- Maintain a strong feedback loop with the account management and delivery teams to ensure seamless handoffs and continued client satisfaction
- Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Track and analyze KPIs (e.g., conversion rates, sales velocity, average deal size, monthly recurring revenue) for continuous improvement
- Present monthly/quarterly progress updates to senior leadership
