What the job involves
- We’re looking for an associate account executive for our sales team in our Lisbon office to present Pipedrive as a leading solution for the CRM needs of our trial prospects.
- Seek to meet sales quota
- Understand basic business concepts, structures, and processes
- Conduct consultative conversations with in trial customers by asking key questions to understand their businesses and needs
- Perform demonstrations to show the value of Pipedrive’s solutions
- Contact customers to follow-up and offer appropriate solutions to ensure that their needs have been correctly and effectively met
- Search for business opportunities and trends in a proactive manner, and effectively applies this knowledge in the job
- Learn about Pipedrive to become a specialist in order to be able to provide the right fit solutions to solve customers’ problems
- Create loyal Pipedrive clients by performing outbound calls of prospective and current trial customers
- Understand how to interact with team members, owning the appropriate tools for collective development
- Track and document sales based conversations and activities in our internal Pipedrive system

Since its foundation in Estonia in 2010, Pipedrive has grown into one of the world’s leading sales CRMs, rivalling the likes of Salesforce, HubSpot, and Agile. Indeed, it’s considered by many to be the best for sales management specifically.
Pipedrive’s growth from a five-person startup to 900-plus headcount across ten locations has been quite spectacular, but the last few years have seen the company go through a raft of significant changes. Chief among these is Vista Equity Partners majority investment, which brought unicorn status.
As well as this, former Google Director Dominic Allon also joined as CEO, while the company has also been expanding its executive team, with a particular focus on sales and marketing. Though already operating from a strong position, Pipedrive looks to be aiming for even greater growth.
