Who you are
- You're not just an experienced recruiter — you're someone who believes that recruiting is fundamentally about relationships and human connection. You:
- Bring 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including at least 1 year in-house
- Have proven success at an early-stage company (Series B or earlier), competing for and winning top-tier talent
- Excel at recruiting diverse talent who can build strong connections with our team and customers
- Thrive in ambiguity and naturally bring structure to undefined challenges
- Are a confident closer, skilled in benchmarking compensation, crafting compelling offers, and selling candidates
- Partner effectively with executives and senior stakeholders as a trusted advisor
- Feel energized by going above and beyond to create exceptional experiences for candidates and employees alike
- Love in-person collaboration and are excited about being in our SF office 4-5 days per week

As the second recruiter on our fast-growing team, you'll help us build the exceptional team that builds exceptional products

You'll be a culture bearer, a strategic partner, and a driving force in bringing together the special go-to-market team who who will write Assembled's next chapter
- As a full-cycle recruiter and key presence in our San Francisco office, you'll:
- Champion our talent strategy for GTM roles (with a focus on Sales and Success), from initial outreach through offer acceptance and beyond
- Be the face of Assembled in our Mission/Potrero office, creating memorable candidate experiences that reflect our values of empathy, curiosity, and determination
- Partner strategically with hiring managers and leadership to design hiring processes that identify not just skilled professionals, but future Assemblers who will thrive in and elevate our culture and connections
- Build meaningful pipelines through creative sourcing strategies, thoughtful inbound programs, and strategic agency partnerships
- Elevate hiring excellence by coaching and empowering managers to own their part of the process while you provide expert guidance
- Balance scale with soul — managing high-volume recruiting while ensuring every candidate feels the care and attention they deserve
- Shape compensation philosophy through data-driven benchmarking and thoughtful offer strategies
- Drive continuous improvement using metrics and insights to refine our hiring approach
Our take
Assembled's platform helps companies manage and scale their customer support services. Customer service management is just one of the many areas that are being overhauled by digital transformation. Assembled helps streamline cumbersome and error-prone customer support processes - such as planning support rosters, forecasting demand, and evaluating team performance.
Assembled already counts companies like Zoom, GoFundMe and Stripe on its customer books, and finds huge opportunity in key industries like eCommerce and food deliveries that have been seeing massive digital overhauls. Having received significant investment, the company seems set on continued growth, with funds cited to support product development as well as help launch its CX Scholars initiative, that will commit a percentage of revenue to continuing education for support workers.
