Who you are
- For this role we are looking for an engineer with years of experience working on advanced projects in Typescript and React. We’re looking for examples of impressive projects you’ve worked on. We hope this engineer will join our team in aiming for and delivering work at an exceptional level of engineering craft
What the job involves
- Developed a novel process for serializing and replaying web applications (the core of interactive product demos)
- Built generalized support for serializing web applications across browsers and web technologies that “just works” (we pride ourselves on making this engineering accomplishment feel simple)
- Made strides in improving the performance of downloading and uploading large amounts of resources quickly and efficiently
- Extended our product offering to support interactive demos for desktop and mobile apps
- Built out several custom no-code builders across our platform
- Created the beginning of our engagement platform to surface the value we provide to our customers

Our take
In the consumer world, it’s the expectation that you can try out services and software before buying. However, most B2B software isn't designed for trials and this creates a serious friction point in the sales process.
Navattic eliminates this friction with a no-code platform for interactive product demos. Sales and marketing teams execute hands-on software demos without needing engineers for assistance.
The platform has identified a problem area that is highly impactful for prospective customers. However, so far the product really works best for any company that has a more complex or technical product and is mostly web-based.
Navattic is still iterating on the product as it uncovers additional use cases and learns from its customers. It is focused on building the most user-friendly solution that meets the demands of this new category before moving to later stages of company growth.
