Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Design (interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial, etc.)
- Experience working collaboratively with other designers, marketing managers and other stakeholders
- An online portfolio showing experience designing beautiful brand communications
- A track record of key contributions to innovative and successful marketing campaigns
- Ability to communicate campaigns and complex messaging clearly and beautifully to different audiences
- Experience and passion for developing brand identities
- Enthusiastic and proactive - Bring ideas to the table, overstep your boundaries and challenge those around you
What the job involves
- Designing beautiful marketing imagery and brand collateral, from youtube videos & social media content to collaborative iteration with our art director and marketing team to test and improve upon how we best communicate with our target audience
- Leveraging and contributing to our current brand guidelines
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment where appropriate
- Partnering with our art director to further refine the rationale behind our brand design decisions
- Taking into account existing insights, technical constraints, business needs, and specific market demands to produce data-informed solutions

Established names in this industry include Allianz PetPlan, L&G Pet and Direct Line Pet. However, 45% of cat or dog owners do not have pet cover as many are unconvinced by the value that pet insurance offers. Waggel targets these untapped customers who cannot or would not commit to a standard annualised insurance policy by offering a pay-as-you-go subscription model.
With customers demanding transparent, digitally-based solutions, Waggel is well-placed for filling this niche and offering a solution for the next generation of pet owners.
