Product Manager, Getaround

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field
• 3-5+ years’ experience in product management or a related role, required
• Experience building B2B/B2C SaaS Marketplaces or features for a SaaS Marketplace, preferred
• Experience with product planning, customer discovery, product discovery, and product development process
• Experience using quantitative (e.g., metrics, analytics) and qualitative data (e.g., research, user feedback) to inform product prioritization and decision-making
• Proficiency in Figma, Tableau, Hex, Jira, Notion, preferred
• Entrepreneurial self-starter and fast learner who can navigate through ambiguous environments and work independently when needed
• Excellent user empathy skills. You habitually put yourself in your users’ shoes to understand their issues
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively within a matrixed environment involving multiple stakeholders
• Excellent at summarizing problems and explaining the big picture, both in written and verbal forms. You share information proactively
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Ability to work with cross functional roles - especially Engineering, Data and Design
• Exceptional ability to articulate and simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences, crucial for bridging technical and business communications
• A solution-focused problem solver adept at both strategizing and leading, as well as diving into the details to build, test, and launch solutions
• Ability to execute consistently, rapidly, and effectively
• Proven ability to successfully drive large projects involving multiple stakeholders
• Typical work environment includes desktop computing work using typical desktop computing equipment (laptop, keyboard, mouse, monitors, desk, chair) in a home office environment and/or other remote workspace environment
• Ability to sit and use typical desktop computing workspace equipment - e.g. mouse, keyboard, monitor, phone - for extended periods of time
• Manual dexterity to operate a typical desktop computing workstation
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, using virtual meeting and communication tools such as email, Google Meet, and Slack

• As the Product Manager leading the HyreCar platform, your mission will be to maximize earnings for Gig workers and Owners by building intuitive and seamless solutions that simplify their carsharing journey.
• Your squad will implement new features and changes in many key parts of the product: from optimizing the algorithm that ranks cars in our marketplace to developing robust features to improve our claims process, to building features that make it easier for our owners to onboard their first car, you will be deeply embedded in our Gig ecosystem.
• You’ll have a direct and strong impact on key company business metrics, namely by building features in order to improve our Active Daily Rentals - one of the main levers for the success of our business.
• This position reports to the Senior Product Manager for Gig
• Set the product strategy and empower others to come up with great solutions. As the owners of your roadmap, you and your teammates will be responsible for translating the company's strategic goals into a quarterly action plan
• Aim for the optimal outcome on the company’s Objectives and Key Results: the value delivered to our business and our users matters more than the number of releases shipped
• Drive your teammates through the full product cycle: problem identification, user research, ideation, design, development, and launch
• Responsible for delivering high quality features to both our website and mobile apps
• Use quantitative and qualitative data to inform the product roadmap
• Optimize our marketplace ranking by building algorithms that take into account factors that will ensure a healthy and balanced marketplace
• Improve our driver vetting process by utilizing data from 3rd party tools that can be leveraged to reduce our costs
• Build a marketplace that drivers can trust by using levers such as ratings and reviews, robust profiles etc
• Improve large fleet management tooling by building more automated features such as automated messaging and calendar scheduling
• Build reporting tools to give owners visibility into the financial performance of their fleet
• Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company information, data, and systems
• Ensure that IT security policies and procedures are followed
