Role
Who you are
- Strong English communicator who can clearly describe advanced concepts when talking or writing
- Proven past experience in B2B sales or customer success
- Can establish great customer relationships over time by remembering them and their specific requirements
- Product driven and wants to learn the Peel product. To explain the metrics, you need to put yourself in the customer's shoes - so a subject matter interest in analytics and ecommerce is paramount to success
- Is able to use Customer support and ticketing tools and the Peel admin to follow conversations, find their account, and keep the CMS organized and clean
- A great listener who quickly understands their audience to tailor their language, works on understanding their motivations and frustrations to always put a positive spin on them
- Constantly maintains a good attitude while being the first in line to meet customers, talk to them about their data, answer their questions, and dig into their bug questions
- Extremely polite and polished - this person's work ethic, presentation, and mannerisms are a part of Peel's brand and define it in the competition
- Self-driven, this person's work ethic and time to respond will drive the needle forward for our customer relations. It's a mashup role so taking on what needs to get done to grow the brand and improve the customer experience is key
What the job involves
- Interact with Peel users to provide them with kind, polite, and accurate assistance with questions and requests
- Maintain or improve our response time on email and chat
- Learn about Peel's analytics product to become an expert within the first 6-8 weeks
- Follow up on requests with our team to provide timely updates and resolutions to users, keeping our number of open conversations to a minimum
- Improve our current conversion rate by having more time to be the customer advocate and study what accounts in their trial period are missing and reporting it to the team
- Give us better visibility into why we’re winning or losing certain deals. What are the points that really sell? What are competitive threats we need to address or be aware of?
- Help maintain our customer requests on Savio, working with the others on the CS team to give more visibility for our product/engineering leads into missing features and integrations
- Help us put our best foot forward by creating an excellent first impression of the Peel team (helpful & intelligent, not pushy or slimy)

Peel is an automated data analysis tool that analyses 100+ metrics to help e-commerce teams increase their customer base and earn more revenue from existing customers.
Many BI tools require expensive data engineers and analysts and hours of advanced modeling in order to monitor business health and performance whereas Peel enables e-commerce teams to set up their data in minutes, not weeks, without the need for any technical skills. Some of their customers include Lovepop, Bite, Stix, Versed Skincare, Porter Road, Cora, Bev and Outer.
