Who you are

Expert in Ruby on Rails or similar Ruby frameworks
Considerable experience with SQL
Considerable experience designing maintainable, performant systems
Considerable experience working in teams with a high level of collaboration
Ability to support more junior engineers, and actively encourage their growth
Ability to work with designers and product managers to move forward the best user experience for the web and mobile
Strong communication skills, team work, and a seek to improve mentality
Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and AWS services will be an advantage

What the job involves

Contribute actively to the development of new features for our product, as well as to the ongoing maintenance and improvements needed
Participate in backend focused technical and architectural discussions
Collaborate with people from the wider product team to assess the feasibility of new ideas and ensure the delivery of features
Help and work with other members of your team to quickly delivery value
Communicate and propose technical solutions to your team & manager
