Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of Experience in a Project Manager or similar role
- PMP/PMI qualified (or equivalent) with a valid certificate
- Competent in MS Project and all other MS office core applications. Able to produce and review documentation to a high standard
- Technical or IT consultant background in the Software Industry
- Experience managing small to mid-size teams
- Capable of managing multiple workstreams, through excellent prioritization skills and keeping calm under pressure
- Experience working biometrics projects with major airlines and/or airports is valued
- Experience in International projects is valued
- Must have excellent time management and organizational skills
- Speak and write fluent English - other languages are a plus
- Availability to travel
What the job involves
- Accomplish the stated program objectives;
- Create clear and attainable program objectives;
- Build the program's requirements;
- Managing financial and Operational Performance;
- Manage the constraints of the program management;
- Ability to adapt to the various internal procedures of the contracting party, and to form close links with the nominated representatives;
- Customer and 3rd party Management, working occasionally independently in a customer environment. Co-ordinating internal teams, sub-contractors and managing multiple customers whilst ensuring the commercial interests of the business are represented;
- Commercial, Financial, and Risk Management – must have a sound understanding of financials and able to manage a P&L;
- Management of internal resources – ranging from s/w development team, product design/ engineering, Quality Assurance, and local installation resources

Safety monitoring software and systems will be an interesting trend to follow as ‘smart city’ building develops and grows globally.
