Who you are
- 4+ years of experience working as a software engineer (preferably in a SaaS startup)
- Strong CS fundamentals and experience building and scaling distributed systems
- Extensive experience with database technologies - in particular PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Extensive experience developing and operating services running on Linux and cloud infrastructure (we're on AWS)
- Good level of spoken and written English

- In this position you'll join our small and extremely talented product team that is building the future of programmable video
- You'll have a chance to work on scaling our current, fast-growing product and shape some of the next products in our pipeline
- Some of the projects our backend engineers work on include building out a custom video/audio rendering pipeline, implementing real time collaboration, optimizing video delivery/streaming, solving scaling problems, etc
