What the job involves
- Please note, this is an internship offered on a 6 month fixed term contract & part-time basis (20 hours per week)
- Climate Impact Partners, a leading provider of high-quality carbon credit programs, is seeking a highly motivated and organized intern to join our growing team for 6 months

- In this fast-paced role, you'll help research potential companies who can help increase our impact
- You’ll learn about researching target audiences and how to engage them
- Prospect strategically: Work closely with our Lead Generation and Marketing team to research and target companies that align with our mission and growth goals
- Analyze data: Using trends in the market to help us better target and to improve our efficiency and success rate
- Generate high-quality leads: Effectively research and identify their needs
- Become a HubSpot and Salesforce pro: Leverage these tools to organize your work and track progress efficiently
- Shape the role: We encourage your input and ideas to help us refine and optimize the prospecting process
- Crush goals: Achieve your weekly leading indicators of leads generated and track how these flow to business growth and climate impact

Carbon offsetting is a tool for businesses to achieve net zero by purchasing parts in projects that have net negative carbon impact, in a similar way to purchasing stock. Climate Impact Partners sources and certifies the projects, so that clients merely have to choose where they would like to invest. Additionally, the company provides certification for businesses to showcase carbon neutrality, and a calculator for small businesses to assess their carbon impact.
Recently, the trade of carbon offsets has come under scrutiny, as opacity makes it difficult to ensure that purchasing them directly funds action on the ground. However, Climate Impact Partners, which is a leader in the space, demonstrates a commitment to carbon reduction by actioning the largest companies in the world to commit to reducing emissions.
