Role
Who you are
- A passionate and driven DevOps engineer with experience building and maintaining infrastructure for highly-available elastic systems
- As a growing organization, Qogita’s need for a well-built application consistently evolves, meaning you will be essential to it’s growth, focusing on the user-facing side, as well as the internal tooling for various departments in the Product and Data Science teams
- You are an adaptable individual with a desire to continuously improve
- Someone who is comfortable working in fast-paced environments, writing infrastructure-as-code using best practices, and working together with the other engineers to ensure the SLOs are being met
- A humble individual, able to listen and support ideas from others, allowing everyone to know that their work is valued
- You are familiar with the AWS platform and its Cloud Development Kit, have experience building and optimizing Continuous Deployment pipelines, and are confident in setting up and using various observability tools (Sentry, DataDog, etc.)
- There is a blank canvas for you to have a direct impact on our company as a whole, as well as our software, delivery methods, architecture, and methodologies, as well as grow as an individual contributor or team leader, creating and building on our culture of excellence
- As we are a global company with headquarters across the EU, any additional language competencies would be an added bonus
What the job involves
- Working directly with our Head of Engineering and other DevOps engineers to scale and maintain Qogita’s infrastructure, and assisting Back-end and Front-end engineers in building new functionality
- Working closely with the team to assist with troubleshooting various issues and being proactive to reduce the blast radius of future ones
- You will be involved in setting up and improving various processes and tools to ensure high-quality output from the engineering team, including observability tools, build pipelines and environments, test runners
- Working closely with the Data Science and Product teams to support various workloads and integrations that are necessary to drive improvements on the Qogita platform
- You will be a core part of the team’s practices and tools around operational security, performing reviews, utilizing active monitoring tools and acting on issues
- You will be working with one of the two scrum teams tasked with the delivery of innovative features and technology to help the customers using our platform (shops, wholesalers)
- The team consists of Frontend and Backend Engineers, a UX Designer and a Product Manager as we come together to solve customer problems. The engineers you will be working with are not just there to execute on specifications, they are involved in the full lifecycle and so will you

It helps clients to generate better profit margins and turnover, while simultaneously reducing labour costs through its technology infrastructure. The platform allows users to integrate their systems in minutes, with built-in supplier optimisation and a large catalogue offering thousands of categories and brands.
This allows both buyers and sellers to find each other more easily and quickly. In the future, Qogita aims to continue to grow through its mission of bundling purchasing power with improved technology to improve customers' profitability, while also optimising their payment terms, access to financing, and connectivity.
