Role
Who you are
- 2-4 years of experience in a Client
- Previous partnership experience at a startup, nonprofit, or political campaign
- Confidence while presenting, particularly with numbers
- Excellent and efficient written communication
What the job involves
- Own onboarding of a portion of Beam’s partnerships
- Oversee technical implementation and coordinate with Beam’s Engineering and Product teams to coordinate partnership launches
- Work cross-functionally to participate in testing and QA of integration to report any issues to Beam’s Engineering team
- Guide social impact strategy for new partners as part of onboarding in partnership with Social Impact Partnerships Associate
- Analyze ROI and identify opportunities to deepen partnership and maximize value for partners
- Brainstorm creative marketing strategies for partners to maximize return on investment
- Synthesize partner requests into potential new features, and work with our Product team to add requested new features to our product roadmap

Over 80% of millennials and Generation Z actively seek out brands whose values align with their own, To attract this younger, socially-conscious generation, many companies are finding creative ways to showcase their ethics. Beam Impact offers an exciting solution: an app that allows users to purchase from Beam's partner brands, which then pledge to donate a portion of sales to a charity of the customer's choice.
It's an interesting position, and Beam has ambitious goals - aiming to channel $10B to high-impact charities. Since its founding in 2017, the company has partnered with over 180 brands, including major names like Glow Recipe, StarFace, and Ikea. Benefiting both consumers and brands.
Beam reports that users frequently return to their partner brands, driven by the opportunity to support meaningful causes through the free app. Investors have also been drawn to the concept, backing Beam with substantial funding. It will be fascinating to see how this win-win model evolves in the coming years.
