Who you are
- 2 years of investment banking experience + 2 years of private equity experience
- Financial modeling, writing, and presentation experience
- NYC-based, 3-4 days per week in office in Flatiron

What the job involves
- Identify value proposition of different R&D initiatives / new products, quantify success including scenario analyses, and develop go-to-market strategies
- Evaluate new lines of business that Parachute Health could enter, articulate the requirements to win and ROI
- Recommend optimal courses of action to minimize execution risk while formulating mitigation plans to ensure we achieve our long-term goals
- Model the financial impacts of strategic decisions and build out P&Ls for each strategy & strategic partnership
- Develop compelling narratives underlying new growth opportunities

Ordering durable medical equipment and supplies like walkers and monitors is one aspect of the healthcare industry that’s in dire need of modernization. Millions of patients are prescribed care via fax, a process that sees a huge majority of orders derailed or lost - which has a substantial knock-on effect on the health and finances of patients whose care is therefore hobbled. This is why Parachute Health is taking DME ordering digital.
The Parachute Health platform allows healthcare providers to place digital orders almost instantaneously, which can be seen and directly processed by suppliers; the order can then be tracked by all parties, with additional tools available to help manage inventory and pull out analytics whilst staying HIPAA-compliant.
With the platform now active across all 50 US states, and supporting tens of thousand of facilities across the country, it is clear Parachute Health has already benefitted from the digital overhaul sweeping through the healthcare industry. As this transformation continues to gather momentum, it is likely the company will continue to grow alongside it, meaning it has the potential to expand further as time goes on.
