Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in with substantial experience in healthcare industry including:
- Proven track record of selling directly to healthcare clients, ideally within the provider Health IT and/or operational clinical systems area
- Extensive knowledge of Health IT tech offerings, customer account management and the EMEA Healthcare industry with Payers, Providers and Governments
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior level execs both internally and at customer organizations
- Ability to work independently and engage wider go to market stakeholders across organization both internally and externally
- Candidate ideally based anywhere in Europe (UK preferable)
What the job involves
- Achieve individual annual sales target based on selling to Payer, Provider and Government sector clients across the offering suite to attain TCV quotas as assigned
- Drive full sales lifecycle of strategic initiatives of tech enablement of key IQVIA partner sites, including client engagement, demos and contracting
- Deploy extensive external and internal networking to develop contacts and engage with your defined portfolio of clients to drive your opportunity pipeline e.g., generating leads
- Personally, lead key strategic and large opportunities, including complex tender engagements, that are critical to achieving regional plan and financial goals
- Work with the EMEA RBU PPG Sales teams (functional and local) and RWT specialists to co-ordinate your approach with customers to drive sales, leveraging sales specialist teams where required
- Partner with EMEA in-country PPG sales team adopt and sell established solutions from the PPG portfolio
- Support the build out of account plans, and develop / evolve client specific account strategies
- Partner with other regional and global sales functions to engage C-suite and key influencers and budget holders within client base
- Assess any additional client potential within white space analysis to directly drive revenue & growth
- Support offerings teams to provide input to develop and adapt current solutions, to create new & improved client centric offerings

Formed from a merger between IMS Health and Quintiles, it has over 40 years of experience in the sector, growing to become one of the world’s largest contract research organisations, with a network spanning more than 100 countries.
Since its founding, IQVIA has outperformed the market and is focusing on expanding biosimilar firms such as Humira. Humira provides generic drugs from existing medications without needing further data analysis. However, IQVIA’s involvement in new areas of research is likely to offset this trend.
With global medicine spending on track to reach £1.3 trillion by 2025, IQVIA is focusing its efforts on oncology and immunology, the most profitable sectors in pharmaceutical development. It is also building out its technological infrastructure, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence. While it is frank about the limitations of this technology within the sector, it greatly augments the data-handling capabilities of health science teams. Development in this sector is key to IQVIA’s growth plans for 2025 and beyond, which is on track with 2023-24 seeing a massive increase in company share value.
