Who you are
- 4+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on mobile app development and optimization
- Proven track record of delivering successful consumer-focused mobile app products and driving user engagement
- Strong understanding of consumers and their user journey, with the ability to translate user insights into product enhancements
- Proficiency in business analytics, with the ability to analyze app usage data, derive actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions
- Experience planning and executing A/B tests, with a solid understanding of statistical significance and experimental design
- Previous experience working with mobile apps on both iOS and Android platforms
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on achieving business goals while prioritizing user needs
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus)
What the job involves
- As a Senior Product Manager, you will drive the roadmap within Aura’s Consumer product team. Aura is the next-gen digital security solution that is comprehensive, personalized, easy to use, and proactively identifies areas of risk in a user’s digital life
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for our consumer facing product on web and mobile app, from ideation to launch and continuous optimization
- Strong ability to work backwards from customer problems, come up with hypotheses, and drive scrappy solutions to rapidly test and experiment
- Develop a deep understanding of consumer needs, pain points, and behavior through user research and user journey mapping
- Utilize strong business analytics skills to analyze app usage data, track key performance metrics, and identify growth opportunities
- Plan and execute A/B tests to validate hypotheses, optimize app features, and improve user engagement and conversion rates
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, and Marketing, to define and prioritize product features and enhancements
- Develop and communicate product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mobile app product management
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the product management team

Aura provides digital security solutions at both individual and enterprise level. An amalgamation of five businesses (including Intersections Inc, an identity theft solutions provider established in 1996) Aura brings together decades of experience in the security space.
Aura offers a range of plans to help businesses and consumers keep their data safe, with protection from identity theft, online financial theft and protection of technology and devices. It's a competitive space, with rivals including IDShield and IdentityForce. However Aura's combined experience in the field and the constantly increasing online security threats (for instance, catfishing - a scam where the perpetrator adopts a fictional persona to obtain personal information , financial gain or to lure someone into a relationship has doubled in frequency in the last 5 years) means there has proved to be plenty of room for the company to carve out space for itself in the market.
Aura's acquisition of the Pango Group in 2020 has proved to be profitable for the company, giving it access to more digital security verticals and helping to generate 35% year on year growth. It is continuing to scale the business, hiring more talent to make this a possibility.
