Role
Who you are
- Working knowledge of modern JavaScript technologies such as Angular, React, and Typescript
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS/LESS/SASS
- Experience developing responsive interfaces for web and mobile
- Working knowledge of Java and OO design and principles
- Working knowledge of backend technologies like Sprint Boot, REST-based API development
- Experience with performance debugging, benchmarking, and best practices
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and JUnit
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- 3+ years of experience building web applications
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
Desirable
- Knowledge of web architecture and the HTTP protocol
- Experience with MVC development
- Knowledge of caching strategies
- Knowledge of cloud development
- Familiarity with Jenkins and CI/CD environments
- Knowledge of Kubernetes
- Experience developing internationalized software
What the job involves
- As part of a cross-functional team consisting of a product manager, designer, and 4-6 software engineers and QA analysts, you will be an active partner in the design, coding, unit testing, and release of new features and enhancements for our growing customer base
- Participate in UI design, technical design and code reviews
- Groom and provide technical scope for stories and epics in 2-week sprints
- Write high quality, performant, reusable code at across both FE and BE components
- Write unit and integration tests that demonstrate that the code meets acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with other team members to incrementally deliver value to customers
