Temporary HR Generalist, IntelePeer

• The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and able to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
• 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar role
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Hands-on experience with an HRIS system, preferably UKG
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; strong document management and Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Physical Requirements:
• Sedentary work lifting no more than 10 pounds
• Occasional lifting, carrying, and standing
• Frequent hand/eye coordination to operate office equipment
• Vision sufficient to read computer screens, reports, and related department documents
• Dexterity to operate computer keyboards and other related office equipment
• Endurance sufficient to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time
• Frequent speech communication and hearing

Desirable

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Temporary HR Generalist to support our Human Resources function during a temporary leave of absence for 30-40 hours per week for the timeframe of June 2025 through approximately February of 2026
• This role will be responsible for a range of HR tasks, with a focus on onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS updates (UKG), and compliance support
• Prepare and send offer letters and coordinate pre-employment background checks
• Assist with new hire onboarding and offboarding processes
• Update and maintain employee records in UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group, formerly UltiPro) HRIS system
• Support benefits enrollment and respond to employee benefits inquiries
• Administer and track FMLA and other leave-of-absence cases
• Ensure HR electronic files and documentation are organized and up to date
• Assist with employee communications and respond to routine HR-related questions
• Maintain compliance with employment laws and internal policies
• Collaborate with payroll and other departments as needed to ensure accurate employee data
