Who you are
- This is a great job for someone who has good knowledge of Report Revenue Management and Fee Billing Calculation systems
- Requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to manipulate large volumes of data making use of strong excel skills
- Excellent networking and communication skills, enabling the role holder to engage across the business, analyse information, and to establish & maintain effective relationships
- Ability to challenge existing processes and implement innovative solutions
- Tenacious attitude, demonstrating a strong desire to follow issues through to resolution
- Previous experience within the asset management or financial services industries is preferable
What the job involves
- As a Finance Manager, your role will be to will help to ensure accurate revenue calculations and timely billing
- This will facilitate streamlined financial reporting and MI which in turn enables senior management to assess the business success in delivering the strategy
- You will be responsible for the protection of the business against reputational damage caused by incorrect or late invoicing, whilst also supporting a “right first time” and highly controlled billing process
- Within the role, you will also play a key role in supporting the wider Finance teams, including the business partnering and FP&A to assist in the understanding of the various revenue streams
- In addition to this, you will also work closely with these teams to provide necessary input into their cycles (forecasting, planning, desk profitability reviews etc.)

In the wake of a Pensions Dashboard Programme delay in the UK, Aviva is in the running to take over the programme thanks to its pre-existing private systems. This exemplifies Aviva’s renewed focus on the fintech sector, all whilst playing national analyst during the cost of living crisis thanks to its annual Age of Ambiguity study.
