Role
Who you are
- Prior experience in working with large SaaS platforms, understanding their complexities, and driving growth through technical implementations
- Exceptional analytical and reporting skills, with a keen attention to detail
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Account Management, Product Management, or Operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively
- Proven ability to work independently, building relationships and collaborating with all levels of management
- Expertise in writing clear, concise reports and detailed requirements documentation
- Positive, optimistic, and a critical thinker, consistently striving for excellence and proactively solving problems
What the job involves
- REPORTS TO: Director of Account Management
- The Account Manager for Platform Partnerships is the primary point of contact for our partners, driving successful implementation and adoption of Sunbit’s payment products.
- This role combines client-facing expertise with operational know-how to deliver outstanding results, ensuring partners drive significant transaction volumes.
- As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with both partners and internal teams to optimize customer outcomes and influence strategic decisions, while improving internal processes
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients' SaaS platforms to offer tailored guidance and strategic recommendations
- Provide proactive, hands-on support by advising on best practices, product capabilities, and optimization strategies
- Take full ownership of reporting and performance tracking, ensuring alignment with partners’ key objectives and KPIs
- Deliver regular, detailed status updates both internally within the organization and externally to partners, ensuring clear communication and alignment
- Act as a trusted advisor, fully understanding the business, technical, and integration needs of platform partners
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations, to drive alignment and deliver results
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritize effectively and perform under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Identify operational inefficiencies and address issues in a timely and effective manner to minimize disruption
- Contribute to the design and execution of scalable, efficient processes that support long-term growth
- Identify opportunities to optimize partnership performance and enhance the overall health of client relationships

Buy now pay later (BNPL) options have been a lifeline for consumers who need to make essential purchases but need a bit more breathing space to pay for them. Sunbit provides a BNPL solution to service providers, retailers and consumers, helping thousands of communities where traditional financing options have previously been the only route.
Sunbit disrupts the lengthy process of getting credit, utilising its own proprietary machine learning technology to create personalized payment plans for each customer rather than relying on pre-approval based on a FICO score. Their 30-second approval process makes it an attractive option for retailers looking to increase sales as customers can get an in-store decision. Payback has 3, 6, and 9 month flexible options and the platform covers purchases of up to $10,000.
The company is looking to grow after an impressive financial investment that reflects consumers turning to new payment options, such as BNPL. The funding is supporting its point-of-sale loan offerings and its Sunbit card, and will also be invested into scaling its distribution network.
