Role
Who you are
- 4+ years of experience working in FP&A, accounting, investment banking, or similar roles
- Experience working in a startup environment, preferably within healthcare
- Strong analytical skills and a proven record of diving deep, unearthing insights, and driving change
- Organized with high attention to detail
- High degree of ownership and self-starter mindset
- Advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
- Experience working with data exploration and visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, and/or PowerBI
- Experience with various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage Intact, and/or NetSuite
- Experience working within a friendly PC structure strongly preferred
What the job involves
- As a Manager of FP&A you’ll report to the Sr. Director of Business Operations and will serve as Pair Team’s first finance hire
- You’ll be responsible for upleveling existing and creating new financial processes to help guide the growth of the organization and enable Pair Team’s ambitious growth goals
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, providing insights and recommendations to drive financial performance
- Oversee Pair Team’s accounting firm and own the monthly close process
- Own revenue cycle management and implement reporting and processes to ensure timely submission of claims and revenue capture
- Prepare and present financial analysis, forecasts, presentations and recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Develop investor materials and reporting
- Support the executive team with cap table management
- Oversee the development and enhancement of financial systems, processes, and controls to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance
