Who you are

Development of web service based applications
Significant long term experience with the Java language, able to write high quality code across a number of programming paradigms quickly and efficiently.
Spring Boot and other common frameworks and tools found together such as Lombok, Maven
Writing unit tests
Experience with Angular framework, and associated technologies such as Typescript, JS, HTML/CSS, reactive programming
Any end to end testing framework such as Playwright
Any mainstream relational database such as Postgres
Experience with AWS services such as S3, EC2, SNS, SQS, Lambda, SES, ECS, Code Pipeline and others
Git version control
Agile process using software tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket
Excellent knowledge and experience with Linux, shell, administration and programming

Desirable

You are proficient with server side reactive programming using one of the common frameworks, for example Project Reactor
You have used the Cassandra database

Collaborate with others to define and build new features
Lead on the build of some features
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Troubleshoot and debug issues
Assist with live operations
Perform code reviews to ensure best practices are followed
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies

Resale platforms are a valuable service for sports and music fans, but many sites are infamous for overcharging (often by ludicrous amounts). Twickets is a resale platform that ensures fans never pay more than the original face value of the ticket.

On the company's marketplace, buyers pay a small booking fee while sellers can sell for free. Twickets has a large number of partners across different live events, acting as the official resale hub for the likes of Adele, Foo Fighters, the Royal Albert Hall, RHS Chelsea Flower Show and Formula 1.

Bringing much-needed trust to the ticket resale sector, its no surprise Twickets is seeing success. With a decade of experience, the company has enabled huge numbers of genuine fans to trade tickets fairly, and there's no reason to think it won't continue to be popular.
