- Demonstrable experience of both UX and UI design disciplines, including evidence of previous work and ability to express key successes of the project
- Portfolio showing design skills at all stages of a project lifecycle
- Ability to take a design brief and produce high quality solutions that are user-focused and show attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Excellent design and prototyping skills (preferably Figma and/or Adobe XD)
- Experience working with multi-discipline teams
- Experience working with development teams
Desirable
- An understanding of industry standard, accessible design principles
- Experience of the MarTech landscape
- Experience of Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop
- Experience of front end development
- Experience of customer facing research
- Experience of user testing methodologies
What the job involves
- Working with the Senior Product Designer and Head of Product Design and UX you will create experiences that support a product roadmap that aligns with Dotdigital's vision, strategy and market trends to ensure our customers (and their customers) have the best experiences possible
- You’ll work on both UX and UI design projects for 2 separate SaaS platforms
- You will gather requirements, generating and communicating ideas, designing and prototyping solutions and working in an agile environment to deliver amazing products
- You’ll collaborate with teams across the business such as Product Management, Product Content and Product Marketing to ensure we build experiences that add value to our customers
- You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate design concepts
- You will be able to produce thoughtful solutions to briefs using either existing design patterns or creating new patterns
- You will help maintain our design system
