Role
Who you are
- 12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including at least 8 years in a CFO
- Proven experience managing a company through the full IPO lifecycle
- Demonstrated track record in M&A strategy, execution, and integration
- Deep familiarity with business models across SaaS, AI, software, and hardware verticals
- Strong command of global accounting principles, compliance standards, and capital market dynamics
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence board members, investors, and cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred
- Experience in scaling international operations and working in high-growth, venture-backed environments
What the job involves
- As we continue to scale rapidly across global markets, we are looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our Executive Leadership Team
- This is a rare opportunity to lead UVeye’s global finance organization through the next phase of growth—including IPO preparation, strategic M&A activity, and the continued development of a high-performing, data-driven finance function
- IPO Leadership: Own and lead UVeye’s IPO strategy and execution. Build the financial infrastructure and compliance framework required for a successful public offering, working closely with banks, legal teams, auditors, and internal stakeholders
- M&A Strategy & Execution: Identify, assess, and drive acquisition opportunities aligned with UVeye’s strategic roadmap. Lead financial due diligence, deal structuring, and post-merger integration
- Business Partnering & Financial Modeling: Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team
- Create and evolve financial models that drive decision-making across the business, with a focus on forecasting, pricing strategy, and resource allocation
- Investor Relations: Build and manage relationships with current and prospective investors. Craft compelling narratives and materials that reflect UVeye’s vision, performance, and long-term value creation
- Operational Excellence: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, treasury, tax, accounting, compliance, and audit. Continuously optimize systems and processes to support global scale and operational agility
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with teams across Product, R&D, Sales, and Operations to align financial strategies with go-to-market and product growth initiatives
- Team Development: Lead and grow a world-class finance team, nurturing talent and fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and innovation

Our take
UVeye has developed contact-free vehicle inspection systems that leverage AI, ML, and computer vision to swiftly detect faults and abnormalities in vehicles. It’s a broadening out of UVeye’s original remit, which was inspection devices for military and police organizations - although sensitive security facilities like embassies and power plants still make up a critical part of UVeye’s business.
This pivot provided a real shot in the arm for UVeye, especially for its US expansion where it struck gold in the automotive sector. Healthy funding has now come from major players like Toyota Tsusho, Hyundai Motors and Volvo, and the latter has committed to a long-term contract to install the tech in all its North American dealerships.
UVeye is astutely doubling down on its penetration into the $100B+ US automotive industry through flirting with expansions into the insurance sector - it’s partnered, for example, with W.R. Berkley. Insurance tech in this region is throwing itself into data-led digital transformation, and a system that allows UVeye to explore this kind of partnership alongside lucrative manufacturing and defense contracts makes for a very promising position indeed.
